I was born and raised in the beautiful state of North Carolina. I have over 15 years experience working in higher education and student services. From teaching college success, tutoring, academic counseling, and managing an admissions office, I have gained considerable knowledge on what a student needs to be successful in their academic and career goals.

I am a proud Tarheel, having earned a degree in Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill--more affectionately known as Carolina. While working with students in an admissions counselor role at private university, I developed a passion for career advising as well. So, I continued my education by earning a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management. My research interests focuses on change management, recruitment, leadership and talent development. My higher education experience mixed with my HR education enables me to guide students in their academic journey with their career goals in mind.
